Cheap fence for a summer residence - original fences made of wood, metal and scrap materials. Do-it-yourself fences for a private home made from corrugated sheets Mesh fence in a “section” frame

A fence is a mandatory attribute of any site. Its function is both to protect the site from the influence of outsiders and to decorate the house. In addition, the fence is necessary for land surveying and dividing the land into zones.

In this article we will talk about how to make a beautiful and, at the same time, affordable fence.

Construction materials

Undoubtedly, fences made of stone, brick, corrugated board or wood are especially popular, but these materials are not budget-friendly and not everyone can afford such a fence.

A fence made of chain-link or welded mesh that looks cheap at first glance will also hit family budget, if you take into account the cost of transportation and installation of the fence. Despite this, the fence is still the face of the site, so you should not skimp on it.

There are many ideas on what a fence can be made from. If you still decide not to spend money on expensive fencing, then take note of fence options made from scrap materials, such as:

  • Unnecessary pallets.
  • Used slate.
  • Various plastic parts, for example, old containers.
  • Production network.
  • Waste from sawmill.
  • Branches of bushes and trees.
  • Unfinished boards.
  • Scrap metal. If you have a car, you can visit scrap metal warehouses and purchase pipes, poles and crossbars there.
  • Used brick, stone and concrete.

Stages of construction

How to build a fence with your own hands? So, the construction of the fence takes place in several stages:

Planning and marking. Before starting work, it is necessary to draw up a drawing of the fence indicating its dimensions and the location of the gate and wicket. Then we transfer the drawing to the construction site.

The boundaries of the future fence must be marked with pegs and twine stretched between them. Additionally, using pegs, you need to mark the location support pillars. The distance between them should be from 2 to 3 meters.

Foundation. If you are building a stone or brick fence, then keep in mind that such a massive structure requires a solid foundation. The approximate depth of the trench for the foundation is 70 centimeters and the width is 40.

Installation of support pillars. Laying fence spans.

After learning more about the stages of fence construction, you will know exactly how to make a fence correctly.

Corrugated fence

A fence made of a material such as profiled decking will favorably emphasize and highlight your site among others and will reliably protect it from strangers. How to make a fence from corrugated board?

Installing a fence made of corrugated sheets does not cause difficulties even for beginners. Installing such a fence is completely justified due to the advantages:

  • Simplicity technological work during installation.
  • Strength of the material.
  • Long service life.
  • Modern style.

A self-made fence made of corrugated sheets is perfect option for a personal plot.

Fence for a summer cottage

You can make a fence at your dacha from this popular material like a mesh. Currently there are many various options mesh, for example, chain-link mesh, welded mesh.

Besides, modern technologies production provides various protective materials that are used to process the mesh. Thanks to this measure, mesh fencing can last about 50 years.

The advantages of this type of fence include low price, transparency, ease of installation and ease of transportation.

Transparency in some cases can also be considered a disadvantage of the material, since sometimes we want to completely hide from prying eyes.

Price

The cost of erecting a fence depends on many factors. Here are some of them:

  • Foundation dimensions. The amount of mortar that will be used for construction depends on this parameter. Accordingly, the heavier the fence, the more massive the foundation must be laid.
  • Fence size.
  • Material for construction.
  • Installation. You can save a lot on installing a fence if you decide to build it yourself, without the help of specialists.

In order to find out how much it will cost to make a fence, you need to determine it exact dimensions and choose the material for construction.

Photo instructions on how to make a fence

The cheapest fence for a dacha is the one made from leftover construction times materials, or simply lie idle. In this case, their initial cost is no longer important, and the labor costs will pay off in any case. For example, if there is a rocky outcrop in the vicinity, and after the construction of the house there is cement and sand left, then you can build the most expensive type of fence - from natural stone. Or the second option - a fence made from scraps of logs cut down on a tree plot

The fence of the site can be built like this in an unusual way Source 990.md

But these are more special cases - usually you have to buy materials or order a “turnkey fence”.

Features of a country fence

There are certain restrictions on the height and nature of the fence between adjacent areas. The fence should not cast a continuous shadow and be higher than 1.5 meters. Although in practice this is not always done. But it is precisely these requirements that make this part of the fence inexpensive in terms of materials. Anyone can build a relatively affordable fence for their dacha, options for materials used for these purposes:

  • Rabitz;
  • wooden fence (picket fence);
  • welded sections made of rolled metal.

For the part that fences off the dacha plot from the “street,” there is a greater choice of materials, including those listed above. But such a “transparent” fence has rather bad protective functions, especially from prying eyes, wind and dust. Therefore, such a fence for a dacha is used in combination with hedges - shrubs or climbing plants.

If a “blind” and cheap fence is needed along the front border of the site, then boards or corrugated sheets are chosen as materials. This way you can build a fence with your own hands cheaply and beautifully.

Wooden fences

You can build the cheapest fence out of wood. At making the right choice And timely care wooden fences will last at least 10 years. Moreover, this statement mainly applies to pillars, and if they are made from steel pipe with an anti-corrosion coating, then we can talk about at least twenty years of service. And, importantly, there is different types fences for dachas made of this material.

Usually fence, or fence board, is the simplest option wooden fence made from edged lumber. But the protective functions of the picket fence are low, as is its cost. Fence from unedged boards only marks the boundary of the site, and its decorative qualities depend solely on the method of cutting the upper part of the slats and the color of the paint.

Although, if desired, a fence made from an ordinary picket fence can also be made attractive Source rozetka.com.ua

there are also “full-fledged” fences made of wooden picket fence, which are characterized by higher reliability and degree of protection against penetration into the site. Moreover, such a fence can even be “deaf” if used double padding of fence boards– from the front and inside.

A slatted fence also allows you to make section decoration in the form of a decorative panel. And at first glance, a cheap fence will no longer look very cheap.

Edged board fence can be either deaf or “holey”. In the first case, the boards on the veins are stuffed end-to-end or on both sides (alternately on the front and inside).

In the second case, the scheme for laying boards on the crossbars of the spans is similar to a picket fence. To some extent they are even similar, but this option is more “solid”.

If horizontal direction wooden slats for a picket fence this is rare, but for an edged board this solution is more common. Perhaps this is the cheapest fence for a summer house, but it looks quite nice.

And you can put it in a separate category wooden fence shutters. This type of fence resembles a wall lined with plank. The principle of placing the board (or slats) is the same - at an angle to the vertical plane with an overhang on the front side of the top panel over the bottom.

This type of fence appeared recently, but is already popular Source domvpavlino.ru

Fence blinds combine positive sides solid and “holey” spans:

  • the territory is protected from prying eyes;
  • direct exposure to wind and penetration of dust and dirt from the street are reduced;
  • the area is ventilated, so excess moisture from the soil will evaporate more quickly;
  • the shadow from the fence is not so “dense” and “short” plants can be planted nearby.

Another type of wooden horizontal fence is fencing using a block house. This type of cladding panel is thick enough to withstand severe mechanical loads. A decorative properties panels fit perfectly into the rural landscape, especially if the house is built from rounded logs, lined with a block house or siding with a similar profile.

Block house, one of the most unusual finishing materials, looks great as a fence Source svoidomstroim.ru

Of course, this is not the cheapest fence - in terms of this characteristic, a block house does not lag behind most types of fencing made from planed lumber.

Budget fencing made from scrap materials

First of all, you need to understand that not all available materials can be “legal”. An example that can often be found as a cheap fence is a fence or picket fence made from branches or poles cut from a planting or nearby forest. Nowadays, fences made from pallets left over after construction are often chosen. In short, if you need an affordable fence for your dacha, there are many options.

Such a purely rustic fence can serve as a reason for administrative punishment Source jtcase.ru

But in this case, you can wait for the police to visit, since illegal cutting of trees and bushes (even vines) is punishable by both administrative and criminal codes. For individuals the fine is small - 4-5 thousand rubles. But this is if they find no signs of a criminal act. If found, the fine starts from 100 thousand rubles. Moreover, if such a fence is purchased, and its wood is obtained illegally, then the buyer will also face a fine.

And if purchasing a ready-made wicker fence can be considered an affordable option, then log palisade into the rank budget fence no longer hits.

The most inexpensive material is slab. It belongs to lumber production waste, but this does not mean that any kind is suitable for a fence. It is divided into two classes: wood and business. And for the construction of a fence, you need to choose only the second option, as it is thicker and more uniform in cross-section geometry. Moreover, selection must be carried out both by the quality of the wood (lack of rot) and by the uniformity of size - it is advisable to select plates of approximately the same width and thickness. If there is a suspicion of infestation with a bark beetle, then the croaker must be sanded and treated with an appropriate solution so as not to infect the trees on the site.

Such a fence will be the cheapest among all, and it is quite appropriate in a rural landscape Source pinterest.ru

The second most expensive material is considered Not edged board . It makes affordable yet attractive wooden fences for your dacha. And here there are nuances of choice - it is better to use a wide format.

For horizontal fences, the arrangement of the plates is more varied. For example, it could be "volumetric" installation of boards around timber in the center of the span.

There is one too inexpensive option fencing materials – pallets. More precisely, Euro pallets. For their production, fairly high-quality edged boards are used, from which enterprising people even make furniture. And not only for the garden, but also for residential premises with an interior in a loft or rustic style.

The europallet can be used as a source of “raw materials”. That is, disassemble it into boards and make a regular vertical fence out of them. Or build a horizontal fence, borrowing not only boards from the pallet, but also the very idea of a “two-row” volumetric structure.

There are options when pallet practically unchanged goes into the manufacture of spans low fences.

Inexpensive metal fences

In this category, the cheapest garden fences are made from chain link mesh. Their apparent unreliability is deceptive - it is impossible to climb over them, and in order to gain unauthorized access to the site, you must use at least metal scissors. When choosing what to make a fence from, you should not discard this option.

Chain-link mesh is the leader among metal fences for dachas Source ethanvizitei.com

This also includes fences with spans made of welded construction mesh, which is even stronger due to the greater thickness of the wire.

Fences made of welded mesh are one of the easiest to manufacture Source zabornik.ru

There are quite a lot of manufacturers of turnkey sectional fences using welded mesh as a basis. And in the most simple options it is not even attached to the frame from the corner. For fastening, special clamps are used, selected for the cross-section profile pipe, from which fence posts are made.

And this is the most affordable option metal sectional fence Source: seattlehelpers.org

And the next stage in the evolution of welded mesh as a material for fencing a site is gabions. IN landscape design wire baskets filled natural stone, usually used in the form of retaining walls. They also found application for the construction of fences with “blind” spans. This design is more affordable than a stone fence, especially since the gabion does not need a foundation, and if necessary, it can be disassembled and moved to another place.

Another inexpensive option is welded fences. made of smooth reinforcement or square rod.

Conclusion

The final cost of the fence is influenced not only by the materials of the span, but also by its nature. For solid fences strong influence exert wind loads, so the supports for them must be more reliable than for through spans. And the calculation of their number and the size of the underground part has the same algorithm as that of a pile or monolithic foundation. Therefore, a cheap, but solid fence may ultimately cost more than its competitor made of more expensive materials that are freely blown by the wind.

Imagine suburban area It's impossible without a fence. This design is necessary not only to define the boundaries of your territory and prevent unwanted entry of strangers, but also to protect the site from winds, dust and debris. The fence can also perform decorative role, if it is carried out taking into account the general style of the site. Before choosing a specific type of fencing for a summer cottage, it is necessary to determine the functions assigned to it and analyze the operating conditions.

No. 1. Criteria for choosing the type of fencing

The entire a number of tasks, among which basic:

  • defining boundaries;
  • ensuring the security of the territory;

Each fence, to one degree or another, performs these functions, but since the dacha plot borders on different objects, some fences will perform these tasks to a greater or lesser extent. For example, fence that separates the site from the street, or forests, must, first of all, be reliable and provide protection, and the fence separating your site from your neighbor’s serves mainly to define the border and decorate the territory - it does not have to be capital and impregnable. In any case, the fence should be aesthetically pleasing and not spoil (or rather decorate) the suburban area.

When choosing a fence material, it is of utmost importance. For sections made in classic style, the best decoration stone, brick or wrought iron fences will become, wooden fencing will decorate, and in folk style a wicker fence will be appropriate. It’s great if the fence, house and other buildings on the territory have some common features.

No. 2. Regulatory requirements for site fencing

To avoid unnecessary hassle, even before the construction of the fence begins, you must obtain permission for its construction. If the project is completed in compliance with all the standards put forward for country houses, no problems will arise. According to regulatory documents, a fence separating two neighboring plots should be no higher than 1.5 m and do not shade the surrounding area. Therefore, it must be made from mesh or lattice materials. Fence height, going outside, Maybe reach 2 m. Such fences can be made of any materials; there are no requirements for transparency.

The rules also regulate distance of the fence from objects on the site: 3 m – for and 4 m – for pet enclosures. Before you put up a fence between your property and your neighbor’s, you need to mark it and then agree on the border with your neighbors. This will not only maintain normal relations, but also avoid future disputes over illegally seized land.

No. 3. Type of foundation for a country fence

Since the fence is assigned protective functions, it must be reliable, strong and durable, which is impossible without an appropriate foundation. For fence use one of the following options:

  • tape is arranged if the fencing sheathing is heavy. It requires digging a ditch at least 30 cm deep, which is filled with a layer of gravel, then formwork is installed, its height should be 20-30 cm above ground level. Then the formwork is poured;
  • pillar foundation suitable for fences consisting of separate spans (chain-link mesh, corrugated sheeting, etc.). The distance between the pillars depends on the length of the spans. For each pillar, a hole is made about 1 m deep; after installing the pillar, the pit is filled with cement-sand mortar.

No. 4. Main types of materials for fencing construction

Execution options garden fencing there may be a mass. Fence cladding is made from the following types of materials:

  • metal. This group includes both and chain-link mesh, as well as fences made of corrugated sheets;
  • tree, including lining, board and picket fence;
  • brick, stone and concrete;
  • plastic and polycarbonate;
  • original solutions, such as a hedge, wicker fence, etc.

Each of listed options requires detailed consideration.

No. 5. mesh fence

No. 6. Wrought iron fence

A wrought iron fence is luxury and excellent appearance along with excellent performance. This type of fencing is suitable for areas made in classic style, always made custom made and installed by professionals.

Main advantages:

Flaws:

  • high price;
  • the heavy weight of the sections, which complicates the transportation and installation process;
  • metal can rust over time, so sometimes you will have to treat the surface with special substances, but this is not so troublesome;
  • transparency of the forged fence.

Wrought iron fences are usually installed at the border of the site and the street, and since they do not hide everything that happens on the territory, they are recommended to be used when the site has enough large sizes or located in a very quiet and impenetrable place. Often forged sections combined with stone, brick or concrete.

No. 7. Profile pipe fence and welded fence

These types of fencing are alternative to wrought iron fence. They are much cheaper and are not inferior in basic performance qualities, but they look a little simpler. For the manufacture of profile pipe fence round or square pipes are used. Sections of such a fence are 2-3 times cheaper than their forged counterpart, durable, strong, do not require special care, and have good aesthetic qualities.

For the manufacture of welded fences They use not only pipes, but also rods and strips. The production process is quite simple, and there are many design options. While maintaining all the advantages of a wrought iron fence, such fences cost 5 times less. Can be combined with brick, stone and concrete pillars.

No. 8. Corrugated fence

Country fences are increasingly made from. This sheets of steel with protective zinc or polymer coating , and they can imitate wood or stone. Corrugated sheeting can be used to separate a site from the street, as well as to construct temporary fences for the period while work on the construction of a house and other buildings is underway on the territory.

Advantages:

Flaws:

  • low aesthetics, especially from the inside;
  • the material does not provide ventilation.

Often corrugated sheets are combined with concrete or brick.

No. 9. Euro picket fence

Euro picket fence is something between a wooden picket fence and corrugated board. It is made made of galvanized steel, which is additionally covered with a protective and decorative polymer layer. Externally, the European picket fence is very looks like a tree, but at the same time retains all the main advantages of corrugated board.

The material available for sale may vary significantly in the way edges are processed, the type of profile and the method of painting. Sold in strips up to 10 cm wide and 1.5 to 3 m long, they provide ventilation to the area and allow sunlight to pass through. However, a piece picket fence does not provide adequate strength to the fence.

No. 10. Wooden fence

Wooden fencing is a timeless classic. Such a fence can be easily made and installed with your own hands, and due to the ease of wood processing, almost any idea can be turned into reality. The easiest option is to buy ready-made sections wooden fence , the choice of which is, without exaggeration, huge. “Store” products, as a rule, are sections of wooden picket fence of any height and width, fastened with horizontal strips. The design can be anything.

You can make your own wooden fence from sanded or unedged boards, uneven bars or even . The boards can be fastened at a certain distance from each other or without gaps. The tree can be given any shape and color it in required color or varnish, creating a fence that best matches the style of the site.

Advantages:

Flaws:

  • heavy weight, which greatly complicates transportation and installation - you can’t do it with your own efforts;
  • high price (especially for eurofence), since there are high costs for delivery and installation.

Despite the existing disadvantages, a concrete fence is one of the best options for fencing a site, since it will provide him for a long time reliable protection without requiring constant care.

No. 12. Fence made of brick or stone

Advantages:

  • durability (50 years for brick and higher for stone);
  • strength, reliability and high level protection;
  • resistance to weather vagaries;
  • environmental friendliness;
  • excellent sound insulation qualities;
  • fire resistance;
  • ease of care;
  • wide design possibilities. You can choose any color of the material, choose the desired masonry pattern, combine brick or stone with metal or wood.

Flaws:

  • high price;
  • complexity of installation.

Along with the fact that a brick fence protects from strong winds, it completely deprives the area of ventilation and creates a large shadow. The exception is the combination of brick and metal.

No. 13. Polycarbonate fence

Polycarbonate is traditionally used for arranging canopies and canopies, and is often used in the construction. Available in the form of light, large, slightly bendable translucent sheets different shades. The sheets are mounted on metal carcass, and when combined with other materials, it is possible to achieve good results from an aesthetic point of view.

Advantages:

Flaws:

  • not the lowest price;
  • the need to construct a solid metal frame so that the sheets do not “sink” from wind and mechanical loads;
  • low strength. Over time, scratches will appear on the polycarbonate, and hitting or throwing stones at it is not recommended. By combining the material with brick and forged gratings, this disadvantage can be significantly minimized.

No. 14. PVC fence

Long popular in Western countries plastic fences have recently begun to conquer the domestic market. They are highly decorative and can simulate mass natural materials , but their choice is not so great yet. Plastic fence can be used for zoning a site, fencing flower beds, and a children's play area. It can be used as the main fence only when one requirement is put forward for the fence - to show the boundaries of the site, and not to serve as protection from intruders and prying eyes.

Advantages:

Flaws:

  • low strength and vulnerability to mechanical damage;
  • low resistance to wind loads;
  • high price.

No. 15. Wicker fence

If garden plot completed in rustic style, then its best decoration will be a wicker fence. It’s easy to make it with your own hands, but to do this you’ll have to stock up on branches of willow, hazel or other flexible plants. The height of the fence can be either minimal (for flower beds and zoning the site), or medium (for separating the territory from the neighboring one) or even large (for fencing the site around the perimeter).

Advantages:

Flaws:

  • low strength. A wicker fence mostly performs decorative functions, so there are no expectations placed on it for high reliability;
  • low durability;
  • the need for minimal skills and patience to create a wicker fence with your own hands.

No. 16. Hedge

One of the most aesthetic and environmentally friendly options for fencing a summer cottage is creating a hedge. For this you can use plants such as boxwood, juniper, spruce, hawthorn, privet, yew, thuja occidentalis and others. Such a fence will require a lot of effort and time; it will constantly need to be looked after, like other plants in the country, but it looks hedge amazing. Flaws:

  • the need for constant care: watering, fertilizing, cutting, etc.;
  • the need to wait until a normal and dense hedge grows;
  • You will need good knowledge of horticulture and dendrology, or you will need to contact a specialist.

No. 17. Other interesting materials

The following can be used as fencing:

  • slate. Today it is not as popular in arranging country fences as it was ten years ago, but there are still people who want to build such an inexpensive and functional fence. The advantages of the material are low cost, ease of installation, resistance to weather vagaries and the ability to close the area from the prying eyes of strangers. Cons: poor aesthetics and instability to targeted impacts;

Profiled sheet is a universal material for fencing, from which you can easily build a fence with your own hands. Advantages of a fence made of corrugated sheets:

  • strength;
  • beautiful appearance;
  • good sound insulation;
  • big choice colors;
  • ease of installation;
  • long service life;
  • low cost.

Installation of a fence made of corrugated sheets

Step by step, a fence made from corrugated sheets for a private house is made like this:

  1. Marking the fence. Along the perimeter, markings are made of the places where the pillars will be installed (the distance between them should not exceed 3 m), as well as the places for the gate. For calculation required quantity using a profiled sheet, you need to decide how high the fence will be.
  2. Installation of support pillars. Material for supports – square pipe from 50x50 mm or round pipe with a diameter of 76 mm. The laying depth is from 1.0 to 1.5 m depending on the height of the fence. The width of the pits for supports is 150 mm. The bottom is covered with crushed stone or sand. The pillars are placed strictly plumb. The pillars are filled with fine-grained concrete or mortar.
  3. Installation of logs. For logs you can use a profiled pipe 40x25 mm. The number of logs in the span depends on the height of the fence: if the height is 1.7 m, two logs are enough, if more, three. The logs are welded to the pillars at a distance of 4 cm from the ground and the top edge, and the middle one (if there is one) is fixed strictly between them. The logs are primed against corrosion before the corrugated sheet is attached.
  4. Installation of profiled sheets. On soft soils, pillars and fences are built on a strip foundation. Along the fence to a depth of 20 cm, a tape box is made with waterproofing along the walls, which is filled with concrete. The corrugated sheet is attached to the joists with metal screws in drilled holes. You can use rivets. The supports can be covered with natural or artificial stone– the structure will become stronger and look more beautiful.

Sometimes poles made of wood or asbestos-cement pipes are used. Wooden posts must be treated with an antiseptic, and asbestos-cement posts should be used only for low fences.

For the sequence of installing a fence from a corrugated sheet with your own hands, see the video at the end of the page.

How to make a chain-link fence with your own hands

Chainlink fences are widely used in summer cottages - the mesh does not create shadows and does not interfere with air exchange. But the main advantage of Rabitz is its accessibility.

There are three types of Chainlink:

  1. non-galvanized steel;
  2. galvanized;
  3. plasticized (coated with polymer).

There are two different ways make a chain-link fence:

  1. stretch the mesh between the posts;
  2. assemble frame sections from a corner with a mesh into a fence.

The first option is easier to manufacture, the second is more expensive, but more beautiful and functional.

Chainlink fence posts

Pillars can be made of several types of material:

  • Wooden. Short-lived, but often the most cheap material. The column must be cleared of bark and buried 10-20 cm below the freezing level. The length of the pillar will be about 3 m. The underground part is treated with mastic for waterproofing, and the above-ground part is painted. Grid on wooden pillars fastened with nails.
  • Metal. Most suitable material. Use round or square pipes 60 – 120 mm wall thickness from 2 mm. Sometimes they sell painted posts with hooks. This option will cost a little more, but will save time and labor costs.
  • Concrete or asbestos-cement. The mesh must be secured to such posts with clamps or cables.
  • Chain-link tension fence. Pegs are hammered into the corners of the site and the cord is pulled. The marking of the pillars is done based on the distance between them 2.0 - 2.5 m. Dividing total length cord per step, we get the number of pillars. The step is taken so that the exact number is obtained. The places of future supports are marked along the stretched cord, making sure that they are in a straight line.

Attention! If there is a large slope on the site, then in places where there is a difference in height, the fence will have to be terraced, i.e. install a longer and more powerful pole in this place and secure the divided mesh sheet on both sides at different levels.

Installation of poles

In places marked for posts, holes up to 1.5 m deep are made with a hand drill, crushed stone is poured onto the bottom. 10 – 12 cm and compacted. First, install the corner posts. The depth of the pillar should be 20 cm below the soil freezing level. The underground part of the pipe is treated with anti-corrosion mastic and the columns in the pits are filled with mortar or fine-grained concrete. The verticality of the pillars must be controlled by a plumb line.

Attaching the mesh to poles

To attach the Chainlink to the posts, hooks made of wire, nails, etc. are welded. The net is hung on the hooks of the corner post. A thick wire or rod is inserted vertically into the first row of cells and welded to the pipe. The two of you stretch the mesh, holding on to a rod threaded a little further than the attachment point. The mesh is stretched as much as possible and put on the hooks. At the top and bottom of the mesh, 5–20 cm from the edges, a horizontal wire is threaded along the entire length of the span and welded to the post. For subsequent flights the procedure is repeated.

Attention! On corner posts the mesh needs to be separated and secured with a separate sheet - this will reduce the load on the pillars.

All that remains is to bend the hooks on which the mesh is placed. After this, the pillars need to be painted. The upper ends of the Chainlink wire are twisted into one or two turns and bent down to avoid injury.

Sectional fence Chainlink

The fence consists of sequentially assembled frames of angle sections into which a chain-link mesh is mounted. Marking the fence and installing the posts yourself is done in the same way as with a tension fence. Columns are chosen that are stronger, since the load will be greater.

For the frame you need a steel corner 30*4 or 40*5 mm. The length of the fence section is 10 - 20 cm less than the distance between the posts, and the width is 10 - 15 cm less than the height of the post above the ground. Weld the corners into a rectangular frame of the required size.

If the length of the section is 2.0 m, then the width of the mesh will allow the roll to be unrolled vertically. A rod of 4 - 5 mm is threaded into the outer row and welded to the vertical corner of the section. Rods with a cross section of 4 - 5 mm are threaded into the upper and lower rows of the mesh, tensioned and welded to the horizontal corners of the frame. Do the same with the second vertical stand.
