Holy Mother of God
The Virgin Mary, who gave birth to the Merciful and Just Savior Jesus Christ, enjoys special respect and veneration among Orthodox believers. Holy Mother of God She is considered the Comforter and Helper of the entire human race and always hears those who ask and suffer. Therefore, prayers of thanks are often offered to her.
