The rod is fixed using flanges to the ceiling and floor and using side fasteners to the wall. Rails are placed on the pipe for the bar counter, which allow you to adjust the height of the shelves. Choice of equipment

In the absence of a bar, this option would also be appropriate, since the bar leg, like the solid structure with the table top, does not require central and rotating shelves.

For those who like to cook a lot, it is recommended to install hangers with hooks for storing kitchen utensils, which should always be at hand. You will also need a fruit bowl and side shelf for small items. Owners who prefer to have fun with friends can get a hanging system for glasses and beer mugs. A similar design with lighting will look very impressive.

To ensure that the bar pipe does not remain empty, you should install rotating shelves that do not interfere with table setting and can easily be moved in the opposite direction. In addition, guests will not have to reach far for the necessary item.

Original solutions

A themed bar counter looks perfect. To design it, you first need to understand how such a design will be used. There are several solutions:

  1. A place for breakfast and tea.
  2. Part of the party decoration.
  3. Working surface.
  4. Detail of room zoning.

The last two options do not involve a large clutter of fittings, so it is better to stick with 1-2 shelves. For breakfast, you should definitely place mugs, a fruit bowl, a basket for sweets, and hooks for cutlery will also come in handy. The party stand looks the chicest of all. There must be all the listed holders, and also a stand for bottles and glasses is added. Sometimes they can be attached not to the pylon, but to the top suspended structure located under the ceiling.

The main thing is in the details

The design of a room is evident in the details. A well-designed bar counter can create a kitchen that will be the pride of the owners. Everything in it will be at hand. This will allow you to cook without any difficulties, and make the room special and unique for the holiday.

Don't forget that regardless of the rules, everyone can contribute something of their own. For example, round stands and fruit baskets can be attached along the entire length of the pylon; it would be useful to have hooks and a simple shelf for glasses.

Wooden holders attached from the inside to the top wall of the cabinet - reliable and convenient device for storing fragile glasses. This simple device can be easily done with your own hands.

You will need:

3 wooden planks cross-section 2×1 cm, length 240 cm;

Ruler, pencil, awl, tape;

Miter box, hacksaw;

White glue, wood primer;

Nails, hammer;

Narrow flat brush, matte acrylic paint white, flat brush of medium width;

Medium thickness screws, screwdriver, drill and drill bit of the same diameter as the screws.

Making glass holders with your own hands

Wooden strips and screws are the main materials needed to make these convenient glass holders.

1. Each plank must be cut into four parts. The cabinet in which we are going to install the holder has a depth of 50 cm.

The slats should be slightly shorter: 45 cm. In this case, the cabinet doors will not touch the glasses.

2. Mark the cutting locations on the planks using a ruler and pencil. Place the plank in the miter box, clamp it with your hand and cut. Also cut out all 12 parts.

3. The resulting planks must be connected in pairs at an angle of 90° to form six stops in the shape of the letter G. Apply glue to the side of one plank. Apply glue along the long side of the other plank, close to the edge. Connect the planks and drive four nails along the joint. Connect the remaining planks in the same way. Leave for 24 hours until dry.

4. Prime the holders using narrow brush and let dry for 4 hours. Paint the holders white acrylic paint using a medium-width flat brush: first apply one coat of paint and let dry for 8 hours, then apply a second coat and leave to dry for 12 hours.

5. Mark the locations for the screw holes. Insert a drill bit of the same diameter as the screws into the drill and drill the holes, keeping the drill strictly vertical.

6. Measure the diameter of the bottoms of the glasses to determine the distance between the holders.

7. On the top wall of the cabinet with inside Mark the lines along which the glasses will be attached. The distance between the rows of holders, as well as between the outer holders and the side walls, should be 3 cm. To measure the distance between the holders, add 0.5 cm to the diameter of the bottoms of the glasses.

8. Place the holders strictly along the marked lines and secure with tape. Holding the holders with your hand, insert the awl into drilled holes and punch holes in the side of the cabinet.

9. Tighten the screws with a screwdriver and peel off the tape.

Step 1: Cardboard Model

To make the stand beautiful, you need to make a cardboard model to make sure that all the dimensions are taken correctly. To do this, you need to place a bottle of wine on the table and distribute the glasses evenly around it, after which we measure the distance between two adjacent glasses as shown in the figure. This is usually the length and width of the rack. We round it to get a little more free space.
Cut a piece of cardboard to size. IN in this case it is 18x18 cm and draw lines between the two groups in opposite corners to find the center. You can use a glass to make a circle in the center.
Then we measure the width of the stem of the glass at its narrowest point. Draw a line in each corner of the cardboard a little wider than the leg so that it goes through. If the glass is 11mm, make the width 13mm. Connect the lines at opposite corners to form the letter X.
At a distance from the center, which is equal to the radius of the bottle and the radius of the bottom of the glass is slightly larger (on average 35 mm for a bottle and 30 mm for glass, + 3 mm for reserve, it turned out 78 mm) draw 4 circles. The diameter of the circles should be slightly larger than the width of the X that was drawn earlier. You can make circles with a compass or trace a salt shaker. These 4 circles will keep the glasses from slipping out.
Cut out the cardboard according to the markings and try it on. If it doesn't turn out exactly right, make another model to correct it.

Step 2: Making a Wooden Stand

Once the cardboard model has been made (it fits in size), you can attach it to a wooden board. We redraw the dimensions and markings from the cardboard.
First we drill a hole in the center and 4 circles using a drill and bit as shown in the photo, as it will be difficult to make them straight if you start by cutting lines.
After the holes, we cut out everything else, namely the paths for the glasses.

Step 3: Sanding

To smooth all corners, use sandpaper. To smooth out holes from the inside, wrap a pencil in it, this will make it easier to reach hard-to-reach places. If you want to give such a stand for glasses to someone, you can paint it and varnish it to create a more presentable look.
There are many options for such stands, which can be made in the shape of a circle, an octagon, and even make additional holes for a corkscrew and other items. Good luck!
