A bit of poetry. I googled what “mobius” is and what does tape have to do with it. It turns out that there is a so-called in nature. This is a mathematical surface that is visually similar to a closed spiral ribbon, i.e., simply put, a ring made of a spiral. Infinity sign " ∞ " (invented a little later) is very similar to the Möbius strip. The Möbius strip was discovered independently by German mathematicians August Ferdinand Möbius and Johann Benedict Listing in 1858. That is, the name is named after the discoverer.
