The advantages of atmospheric burners include their silent operation. They operate only on methane or propane and cannot be replaced with burners operating on other types of fuel.

The so-called forced-air burners are installed on floor standing boilers with the possibility of changing the burner. For example: if gas will be supplied only in a year, then you can install a diesel burner and replace it with a gas one when the gas is connected.
Modern wall-mounted boilers with inflatable burners allow combustion products to be removed using easily installed coaxial (pipe-in-pipe) chimneys, which allows significant savings on the construction of a classic chimney.
