The EV225B is a two-position, two-way, servo-actuated solenoid valve designed for use in steam applications. Its design is based on the use of a fluoroplastic membrane, which ensures reliable operation even when working with contaminated steam. Valve body made of selective corrosion resistant brass and valve seats made of stainless steel ensure long service life even in aggressive steam environments.

1: Latch reel

The snap-on coil mounting system makes valve installation simple and secure. If necessary, an airtight seal can be ordered to protect against moisture penetration.

2: Wide range of coils with protection class up to IP67

A wide range of coils with degrees of protection from IP00 to IP67 ensures optimal technical solution for various applications.

3: Effective protection against water hammer

Controlled damping during the final closing stage, optimized shape of the diaphragm and equalizing hole reduce the magnitude of the water hammer in all Danfoss valves by up to 1.5 bar (according to EN 60730-2-8, test pressure 6 bar).

4: Long life and improved performance

The service life of the valve is significantly increased due to the special shape of the membrane, which helps reduce the level of internal stress in the rubber. In addition, this special diaphragm shape ensures optimal flow characteristics.

5: Stain resistant

The coaxial filter protecting the valve control unit has a self-cleaning function. The leveling hole is easily cleared of dirt in case of blockage.

Danfoss valves are made from brass, DZR brass, dezincification resistant and stainless steel. The standard brass version is used in environments with moderate corrosion risk, while the other two materials are ideal for use in more aggressive environments.
