The cost of embossing wood on lining is on average 1,200 rubles per square meter.

We produce from 1 hour:

1. Clichés made of magnesium, brass, copper from 1500 rub.

From 1 day:

2. Cliche with a handle made of metal or wood from 4000 rub.

3. Cliche with soldering iron from 6000 rub.

4. 3-dimensional cliche from 6000 rub.

Magnesium cliche.

Magnesium cliche used for special hot presses. It has a fairly low manufacturing cost compared to other types of metals, and is also softer, which makes it easy and quick to process this metal! With careful use, it is enough for 5,000 impressions (our employees carried out the following experiment - 1 cliche, if not removed, was enough for 100,000 impressions, this also depends on the material on which the embossing is applied). By choosing magnesium cliches, you get: low cost, fast production speed, sufficient high quality!

Brass cliche.

Brass cliche is slightly less popular than magnesium. But the properties of brass allow one to achieve excellent quality if it is necessary to make an impression of increased complexity. Brass makes for better and more uniform embossing. Withstands a load 10 times greater than magnesium, allows you to work with very complex materials and types of foil. Withstands colossal temperature loads! If you compare magnesium and brass, then brass is the incomparable winner in all respects!

Cliché with a pen.

Brass cliche with handle used for applying manual embossing in any conditions, i.e. without equipment! The manufacturing process is much more complicated than when making a regular cliche. here it is necessary to make not only brass cliches of increased thickness, but also screw in metal or wooden handle into the hole in the cliche, which must be made in advance. Using special taps, the thread is screwed into the basting, and a handle, previously made using the same technology, is inserted. The difficulty also lies in the fact that the cliche is very small, and before cutting the thread in the cliche, it is necessary to mark the hole with a drill, which is problematic, because the drill will move off smooth metal, even if held in a vice. Therefore, it is not recommended to do such operations at home and without the necessary experience!

Cliché with a soldering iron.

Making 3 cliches with one soldering iron for 12 mm brass with embedded thread.

A cliche with a soldering iron, one of the types of cliches for leather, quite a specific order. One of the rarest when ordering cliches. As a rule, with such an order, the customer decides on the issue of applying the logo on his territory, in his workshop, or in any other place where he needs it. The technical application process is quite easy. Screw in the cliche, plug it in, wait 5 minutes and you can make impressions!

Cliché with soldering iron allows you to make impressions not only on the skin, but also on the tree. The heating temperature of the cliche will completely allow it to cope with this task!

3D cliche.

3-dimensional cliche or 3D cliche, used for more effective printing. It is made from both magnesium and brass (at the customer’s discretion). The effect is truly amazing. If you compare a regular cliche and a 3D cliche, the difference is colossal! Making a 3-dimensional cliche can only be done by engraving, which allows you to control the entire process from start to finish, viewing 3D projections in the program, which allows us to show how the cliche will look before it is ready!

Technical characteristics for making cliches

1. Line thickness - at least 0.2 mm

2. The distance between the lines is at least 0.2 mm

Such parameters are necessary for the production of cliches for foil stamping, blind, 3D embossing (creating a 3-dimensional cliche is possible ONLY using milling).

To produce a relief cliché by metal milling, you must use other parameters:

1. Line thickness - at least 0.3 mm (the more the better)

2. The distance between the lines is at least 0.3mm

Embossing the cliche is necessary to give the image a three-dimensional shape.

Rest important parameters for making cliches:

1. The distance between each cliche for good cut- not less than 6 mm.

2. Send formats in vector, formats - PDF, CRL, AI, EPS.

3. The cost of processing a layout starts from 200 rubles.

Pay close attention! To prepare a file for cliche production, you need to convert the entire layout of your cliche to 1 color - black! Also, it is important to understand that the engraver must have only clear lines in the frame mode along which the cutter goes, otherwise it will generate an error and will not allow the process to start. It is also necessary to get rid of all loops and other non-straight lines.

Milling of cliches is possible from 2 main metals - brass and magnesium. Features of milling of these metals:

1. Magnesium engraving is a fairly fast process; high-quality settings cut magnesium like butter, while increasing the speed of metal processing without reducing the quality of the product.

2. Engraving brass is a longer process; when working with brass, the speed of the cutter increases, the speed of working on metal decreases, the cutters themselves break more often and you have to start the process again, especially if the cliche is very large and there are many small elements in it.

Cost of making cliches:

The minimum order for magnesium cliches is RUB 1,500. The cost for the volume is 12 rubles/cm2.

The minimum order for brass cliches is RUB 3,000. The cost for the volume is 25 rubles/cm2.

Technical margins - adding 10 mm to the size on 4 sides.

Attention!Square centimeters always come with technical fields! To safely saw your cliche, you must always take into account the technical fields.

Has everyone seen wood carving? There is hardly anything more spectacular than this spectacle. It can be observed in wooden churches and theaters; with a casual glance we see it only among millionaires. The carving process takes a lot of time and the work costs a lot, because units can work well, you need a gift from birth.

But our company is always one step ahead. We offer unique solution– wood embossing. It is carried out on a special machine, where the roller, by pressing, forms a pattern on the lining, boards and beams. We have a huge number of advantages:

1) Manufacturing takes much less time;

2) There is no need to find a reliable employee;

3) Significant cost savings.

What do we end up with?

In the finished work, few will be able to distinguish embossed wood from hand carving. Moreover, the products are of ideal quality, with the same symmetrical pattern without chips, burrs or defects. Embossed lining can be used anywhere - to cover doors, walls, small transition areas, waiting rooms.

As practice shows, this makes a very strong impression on the client. The effect of museum antiquity or a collectible rarity of the 19th century is created. In particular, this is very clearly visible in hot stamping, when the temperature turns the wood into a dark shade, like something out of a Western movie. Even if the client takes a closer look, he won’t find a hitch, but it will be very impressive.

In particular, if you make a large beam using hot stamping, you will get a unique antique column from the 19th century that no one else will have. This beauty will attract more clients for business - perfect solution for repair teams. Let's tell you a secret - wood embossing technology is about 2 years old. Machines for work are a rarity and an exception to the rule, rather than an accessible pattern.

By showing the client one board with embossed wood on the lining, you can provide yourself with considerable additional income out of the blue. After all, who wouldn’t want a bathhouse panel with carvings affordable price V short time? The machine rolls the workpiece at a speed of 30 sec/1m. That is, in 1-2 days you can provide a quantity of lining for a 10x10m bathhouse, despite the fact that it can be made on the fly, in small batches. The covering will have to be done in any case, but this way we will get unique work to the envy of the neighbors.

Moreover, wood that has undergone this treatment is denser. Its water-repellent properties are only enhanced. If standard lining is poorly processed at the factory, it needs to be painted with a primer, varnish, or special impregnations, then heat-treated lining is not afraid of moisture and insects.

Thanks to removable rollers, the machines have big choice pattern, configuration and figures. You can make beautiful wooden corners for walls and baseboards. Imitation of python skin, laurel wreath (symbol of winners), Greek patterns from Olympus and much more are available.

What's special about us?

The main feature is that we will develop your design together with you. You can make an imitation of more delicate and smooth materials from coarser and fibrous rocks. In fact, it will be impossible to determine the true basis of the work.

Decorative wood embossing

Wood carving is a powerful technique for decorating furniture and other wooden products. However, it is very labor-intensive. There is quite known method, allowing for to a certain extent imitate carving and mechanize the process - this is the technology of hot wood stamping, i.e. pressing or thermal shaping of wood.

Natural wood consists of natural polymers. Therefore, under the influence of moisture and temperature, it becomes much more plastic. For example, the classic bending of steamed wood is based on the use of this property.

Hot wood stamping can be used to obtain three-dimensional decorative images on both flat and shaped surfaces of wooden furniture parts and other products.

The first experiments in wood embossing were recorded around 1870 in the USA (Hartford Ornamental Woodwork Company). But it cannot be said that the technology of hot wood stamping is widespread: stamping is used only at certain foreign and domestic furniture enterprises.

Furniture makers know little about embossing and, as a rule, do it by hearsay. In some other industries, embossing is used very widely. Embossing is the main method of decorating natural and artificial leather, linoleum, paper and polymer wallpaper, and baguette. In plastic processing, embossing is used in the production of sidings, plastic panels, skirting boards and other plastic moldings.

In addition to copying carved designs, embossing allows you to imitate other materials. For example, inexpensive hardwood or softwood can be embossed with the more porous and expressive texture of oak or ash.

Embossing can imitate wicker, etc. materials (rattan, reeds, straw).

Hot stamping can be carried out not only on solid wood, but also on veneer, plywood and hard fibreboards. Good results are obtained when embossing MDF boards, as well as thermoplastic wood-polymer composites.

Embossing flat products(doors, panels, etc.) is carried out in a press using a relief punch. Embossing of panels is also possible in through-roller embossing machines.

Volumetric products, for example, legs, armrests and other elements of chairs and armchairs, are produced in closed molds.

In some cases, the embossing operation may involve gluing (of veneer sheets, paper films, etc.) and perforation. For example, in the manufacture of seats for chairs.

At temperatures above 150°C, embossing may be accompanied by some change in the color of the wood. At temperatures above 200 degrees, the color change of wood becomes intense, even turning black. Light surface hot decorative stamping is called pyrotyping.

As with carving, the effectiveness of embossing as a decorative technique can, if necessary, be emphasized by finishing (tinting, translucent varnishes, gilding, metallization, etc.).

Not everything that is cut with a chisel can be accurately reproduced by embossing. This technology has its limitations in terms of pattern depth, radii, etc. Different breeds Woods are suitable for pressing to varying degrees. Materials that are prone to cracking are not suitable for this technique, for example, particle boards, low-quality plywood, as well as knotty and cracked wood species.

It should be borne in mind that embossing is a strong decorative technique. Therefore, the use of embossed elements in a specific product requires good taste and careful design elaboration of both the drawing and the product as a whole. It is not always necessary to copy old artistic designs and techniques: one should also look for new figurative solutions in embossing.

But there is a method that allows you to imitate carving to a certain extent and mechanize the process - this ishot stamping technology wood s".

Wood carving is a spectacular decoration technique wooden surfaces. However, it is very labor-intensive and time-consuming, even when using CNC milling machines.

But there is a method that allows you to imitate threading to a certain extent and mechanize the process - this is technology hot stamping wood, i.e. pressing or thermal shaping of wood.

Under the influence of temperature, the natural polymers that make up any wood raw material soften and become more elastic. Using a special heated metal mold (punch), under high pressure A three-dimensional pattern, similar to a carving, is imprinted on the wood.

The first experiments in industrial wood embossing were recorded around 1870 in the USA (Hartford Ornamental Woodwork Company). Therefore, today I would not call this technology innovative.

Only about 6 years ago, some Russian woodworking companies began to offer the service of applying decorative patterns to molded products using the hot stamping method, as well as the production of various decorative elements from them.

Embossing of molded products is carried out on through-roller type embossing machines. The heated roller is rolled with force over the surface of the product andleaves a corresponding relief on it.

The frequency of pattern repetition (report) depends on the diameter of the embossing roller. Etcand temperatures above 150 degrees, embossing may be accompanied by some change in the color of the wood. At temperatures above 200 degrees, the color change of wood becomes intense, even turning black. This kind of hot decorative stamping is called “Pyrotype”- from Greek origin meaning “fiery seal”.

Different types of wood are suitable for pressing to varying degrees. Materials prone to cracking are not suitable for this technique, for example - particle boards, low-quality plywood, as well as knotty and cracked wood species.

In addition to copying carved designs, embossing allows you to imitate other materials. For example, inexpensive hardwood or softwood can be embossed with the more porous and expressive texture of oak or ash.

As with carving, the effectiveness of embossing as a decorative technique is necessary cases can be emphasized by finishing (tinting, translucent varnishes, gilding, metallization, etc.).

Moreover, it should be noted that when hot stamping, the board undergoes surface heat treatment to a depth of 4-5 mm at a temperature of 350 degrees. As a result, the color of the wood changes, so-called glossing occurs, the strength of the top layer improves and excess stress in the wood is relieved. Wood after hot stamping is not susceptible to rotting and fungi, which allows such products to be used for outdoor work.

Also, due to the fact that this decoration method allows you to do without chemical dyes, it has become especially popular for interior decoration baths, namely steam rooms, where environmental friendliness is very important.
